B is a multimedia artist from Houston, Texas. Using the artist name Bliberation, B has been creating art for public display since the early 2010's while studying mechanical engineering at Howard University. 

Afrofuturism is a theme seen through their work as a musician and a visual artist. As a DJ, B is intentional about sets including music centering Women and Non-men on vocal arrangements and production. B is also heavily influenced by House & Club music which has its roots in Black Queer and Trans communities. The soundscape that B conveys is an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, House, Soul & Funk, Tropical Rhythms, Pop, and African Electronic music. B loves to blend genres from across the world for an upbeat danceable experience.

B has played in shows and produced music across the world including Canada, Mexico, and Jamaica. B’s residencies, accomplishments, and special events include: Loop Sessions DMV Host (MD), Data Dump event series at Axelrad (HTX), House of Secrets Residency (DC), The Function 2025 (Baltimore), Blerdcon 2024 (DC), Grimalkin Fest 2024 (Virginia), Freshdark Fest (HTX), and numerous music production releases.

When not making music B loves to be involved with a garden and care for plants, as well as tinkering with woodworking and vintage car projects.

Collaborating with and performing alongside B has always been an amazing, rewarding, fun, and eye-opening experience. He’s always been keen on new music while incorporating and paying homage to elements of foundational sounds, rhythms, artists, and genres, in addition to supporting and encouraging our individual talents. Whenever B is on the bill for a show, or when he releases new mixes, I know that everyone, myself included, is sure to be engaged and entertained.

 Bliberation is one of my favorite DJs to work with hands down. He has been communicative, punctual, and extremely beneficial to all of my events with his keen selection of music, seamless transitions, and deep knowledge of sound tech equipment.
