Daniel is a lifelong music lover, who fell in love with DJing and music production in his early teens. After picking up a deck, and sharpening his teeth as a resident DJ around the Chicago nightlife scene, Daniel transitioned into private events and weddings, where he got hooked on bringing good vibes to the dance floor. Daniel prides himself on his ability to read the crowd, and always has a trick up his sleeve to keep the dance floor packed.

Though Daniel is able to showcase many genres, he is especially attuned to Hip Hop, Top 40s/Pop, EDM, and Latin music. On his off days, Daniel enjoys cooking, going out, and during the winter, snowboarding! Apart from being a DJ, Daniel is also a music producer, a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and of course, a pet lover! 🐾

We chose Daniel from Green Line Talent for our wedding DJ after coming across his profile and his work, and we could not be happier with our decision! He was extremely professional and easy to work with through out the process - answered every question we had and provided helpful guidance in terms of how the day should flow, what type of music vibe he recommended for each portion of the evening, etc. Closer to our event date, we added on a saxophonist through Green Line for the late night portion of the reception, and Daniel coordinated everything and ensured the two of them were on the same page, which resulted in an unforgettable experience that my guests can't stop talking about. First off, I love that the website not only helps match you with a DJ but also has the DJs' mix tapes on their profiles. We worked with Daniel and he was awesome. He was so attentive and helpful through our planning process. He brought a great energy to our event and was great at reading the dance floor. Green Line Talent exceeded our expectations! Just got married in April and wanted to commend DJ Daniel for doing a wonderful job at our wedding! He was very communicative and listened to our input and requests for songs played. We went over the timeline with him to a T and he was very helpful on how the process traditionally goes but he was also open to our thoughts and opinions. He was also very flexible and didn’t miss a beat when the mother of the bride wanted to add the dollar dance in the schedule last minute and none of the guests knew what was going on lol. We booked DJ Daniel for our wedding this past July and the music was definitely a highlight of our big day.

As the bride and a lover of music in general, finding the right DJ was my number one priority. After our first meeting with DJ Daniel, I was already confident in my choice. He had a wide range of questions for us to understand the vibe we were aiming for and also took my apple music playlist into consideration. His transitions were smooth and he kept the party going! He was  great at keeping everything moving along exactly as scheduled.

One thing I loved about Green Line Talent in general was the questionnaire they provide that goes over the entire schedule in detail & includes all of the songs for those big important moments so that everyone is on the same page.

If I had to do it over, I would 100% go with Green Line & DJ Daniel again!

Daniel gave the performance of a lifetime at our wedding this September! We wanted to start off with somewhat classic boring wedding songs to appease the general crowd but then to basically turn it into an EDM music festival as most of the people were in the 25-35 age group for the last 2-3 hours.  He was incredible, he met with us multiple times before, listened to our feedback, and used our playlists to draw from and of course had full creative freedom to perform his craft which he did to a T.  He threw down an insane set to a point where everyone has been talking about how this was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding. From a logistics standpoint, Imani was also delightful in helping us connect with Daniel. I have absolutely nothing but praise and gratitude to Green Line Talent for making this an incredible experience for us and everyone that attended.

 DJ Daniel was fantastic! We did not have strong preferences and relied on his expertise for both the songs for each part of the night and he absolutely delivered. Daniel did an awesome job at our wedding! He was very helpful and responsive during our music planning process and took the time to talk to us up until the very last minute when we wanted to make some changes. The day of the wedding he was looking out for my husband and I making sure we had food and a drink amidst the chaos. He also did a great job with the music selection! We are 25 and wanted to play current/recent music and latin music rather than wedding staples and he delivered. ​We used Green Line Talent for our wedding and it was such a great decision. We worked with DJ Daniel Choi and not only was he a great DJ, he was also just a wonderful person to work with overall. He was super friendly from the get go and answered and talked to us about all our music concerns for our meetings. We have been to many weddings where the dance floor sort of empties out in the first hour and by the end of the night, there is almost no one dancing and this was one of our big fears. We wanted everyone to have fun and we had a guest list of all different ages (children to my 81 year old grandmother) and we also had a multicultural guest list. Daniel checked up on us throughout the night to make sure we were doing okay, that we were able to get some food and drinks despite the crazy schedule of a wedding day which we were so grateful for. He did the music for the entire event starting from pre-ceremony all the way to the end of the last song. Needless to say, my fears did not come true. We were seriously impressed by the amount of my guests that stayed till the very very end, until the last possible song. We were so happy with his music selections and he was really great about taking requests from my guests as well and mixed in some Latin dance music in there for my guests who know how to salsa and even some KPOP for our Korean family and friends. Even when some people weren't dancing and sitting down at the tables, they were bopping to the music. Honestly the music was perfect for our wedding and we are so glad we worked with Green Line Talent and DJ Daniel Choi. Even my 81 year old grandmother was dancing to the last song possible. Thank you so much Daniel for making our special day so perfect!!!

​Daniel was such a great DJ! He was professional, helpful, attentive, and most of all, fun!
