In addition to being the founder of Green Line Talent, Elissa is a dedicated composer, vocalist, producer and video artist. She is the co-founder of the experimental Brooklyn-based label FOIL, and half of the  electronic duo Kodacrome, which has been featured by the likes of BBC, KCRW, Vice, MoMA PS1’s Cocktower Radio, and Marvel’s Runaways.
🎧 Moonlighting...
Over the years, Elissa has supported her creative passion projects by working as a DJ and Operations Manager in the world of upscale private events. She spent roughly a decade based in NYC, and now represents over 40 DJs and Creatives on the east coast, Chicago, and Austin, TX. 

Since her advent as DJ, Elissa has overseen thousands of events, and performed for clients including The Harlem Globetrotters, Brooks Brothers, O.P.I., Benjamin Moore, and The New York Stock Exchange. She was recently named one of the industry's leading private event DJs by Billboard Magazine.

Philosophy...
As a business owner, Elissa has made it her mission to design a company culture that nourishes and supports Trust Artists. Elissa is passionate about tuning into her Roster’s goals holistically, and championing them to activate their inner genius, leverage their creative potential, develop financial wellness, and unlock a meaningful career.

When she's not serving as the OG DJ Godmother of the arts community, you can probably find Elissa working on a cut paper animation, notating orchestral arrangements, or paddle boarding with her 5 lb. brussels griffon PJ Harvey. 🐾 ​

We were fortunate to make a connection with Elissa at a super opportune time!  As a company we were in a little bit of a strange spot, switching from 1 owner to dual ownership, growing the team, and making efforts to grow the company as a whole to be able to support everyone involved while maintaining the quality control and high level of care that comes with a single owner operator giving their full attention to the business.  She's an expert in the field and has first hand experience of techniques for scaling with quality in mind. 

​I have a hard time with business coaching because I tend to view it as a little scammy and not valuable.  But I never felt that way in our conversations with Elissa.  She has a very laid back conversationalist approach to how she communicates and works with the specifics of where your company is at and the individuals/personalities involved in trying to grow it.  We really appreciate the time spent with her and we came away with a lot of enthusiasm for moving things forward along with specific targeted areas of where to put our time.  Thanks Elissa!

DJ Elissa was fantastic! We knew we wanted to avoid the overbearing DJ that played all the stereotypical tracks, and Elissa delivered on that and then some. From the very first conversation, she was totally on top of things and easy to work with. She took the time to understand our music tastes, understand our crowd, and understand the vibe we wanted. The day and night of, she was subtle and professional, kept everything moving along, and played an unbelievable mix that perfectly represented everything we talked about. It was important for us to have good music that people would want to move their bodies to. Green Line Talent, Elissa in particular, was perfect for this. I think most people were truthful when they said our event was one of the best parties they had ever been to and Elissa played a huge rule in making it a memorable bash. She was extremely responsive and helpful during the planning process as we tried to hone in on the genres and vibe we wanted to create during the reception. People danced like maniacs, as did we. She was very open to our song requests but also delicately handled our uncertainty and took the lead on figuring out what was best for us.

We spent two months looking for the perfect DJ and ended our search as soon as we met Elissa. She is the most professional, responsive, and down to earth DJ in the city. Initially, based on her mixes, we unsure if she would be willing to play some of the floor fillers we craved (we were concerned that her sound was a little too indie for the type of dance party we wanted), but she more than delivered and went above and beyond the call of duty to make all of our desires met (even borrowing equipment from friends to make our 3 set-ups possible). Our live performers loved working with her too and our guests cannot stop talking about the best night of their lives. She had everyone in the room dancing until midnight- I have never seen so many people dancing non-stop on the dance floor to fantastic beats. A total pro with fantastic taste and an amazing vibe!

We hired Green Line Talent to DJ our product launch. Not only was our DJ, Elissa a regular badass, she even worked in a special karaoke section so our CEO could perform a Boys II Men song!"

Elissa put in the time with us and go to know our musical tastes and our idea of how the night would flow, music-wise. When everything came together on the event day, Elissa and her crew were there promptly to set everything up, making it really easy on us. The music was awesome! It felt like we were at our own private club and the dj had some vulcan mind-lock on our music requests. Elissa just got "us" and we couldn't have done it without her.

We used Green Line Talent for our holiday party and from the start they was professional, kind, prompt, friendly, and very open to hearing what we envisioned for our party. DJ Elissa worked with us in the months leading up to the party and each contact with her met and exceeded our expectations! The week of the party there was a small bump and Elissa offered and found an easy solution, which I really appreciated in all the last minute craziness! DJ Elissa was so great—excellent communication, helped us figure out timing for everything, worked well with the venue and our other vendors, and set everything up seamlessly. She was also great at announcing speeches and stuff like that, but didn’t make her presence the focus of the attention. We also thought it was just plain cool to have a young, hip woman as our DJ. We got so many compliments on the music too! Even some of the staff told us they really appreciated the music, and one specifically thanked us for not making them “listen to Lady Gaga for the 80th time” (we avoided top 40 in general). Our photographer literally said it was “the best” music out of all the private events she’s ever shot!

We wanted our soundtrack to have a cocktail/dinner/dance party vibe and a mix of a lot of different types of music. Elissa was great from start to finish. She was professional, friendly, communicative and flexible. The music was right on, and Elissa nailed it. We couldn’t have been more pleased, and our guests had a blast.
