Shane Page has been performing musically since he was 12 years old. What started in a humble talent show, soon spawned into various singing groups, a number of bands, and, eventually his manifestation as a solo producer, emcee and DJ. Shane has performed hundreds of shows for large scale events, including the Virgin Mobile FreeFest, and Afro-Punk Festival. He’s shared the stage with Ludacris, Mos Def, Bad Brains, Chromeo, M.I.A., Pavement, LCD Soundsystem, and Joan Jett, and performed at such venues as S.O.B.’s, CMJ, Webster Hall, Piano’s, The Knitting Factory, Santos Party House, and The Bitter End.
Shane’s musical tastes span the gamut, and he’s just as comfortable shredding in a rock band, as he is dropping original rhymes or beatboxing as a hip-hop artist. As your DJ, Shane would be just as excited to mix in a little Biggie as he is about the latest Radiohead remix. Over the years, Shane has curated playlists far and wide, and has become known as the go-to guy amongst his Brooklyn colleagues when it comes to devising a tasteful and cutting-edge playlist.

We hired Shane for our Halloween wedding and were incredibly excited when he expressed how much he loved the idea! He was very cordial and professional, but also friendly and very approachable as we discussed playlists, schedules, and timing. When we first spoke on the phone, he was very client-forward, asking us lots of questions about what we were envisioning for the wedding. When we met in person, he asked us about ourselves and our story, and it really meant a lot that he wanted to know more about us outside of just the wedding day. He was incredibly amazing and easy to work with, and what we really appreciate a lot is just how well he did his research with our preferences and music choices. My wife loved how many songs he played from our inspiration playlist, which she wasn't entirely expecting. He did a great job getting our wedding attendees out on the dance floor, directing tables to get food, and making announcements throughout the night. All-in-all, we'd hire Shane all over again!

 Shane was an amazing DJ. He went above and a beyond to get to know my fiancé and me and figure out exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We are THRILLED that we booked DJ Shane for our wedding. We had an amazing time and our guests were dancing the whole night. From start to finish this company was so professional and great to work with! The pricing was less than we thought it would be, Jake and Elissa were so responsive to all of our emails. We booked DJ Shane for music for our cocktail hour, reception and after party and he was such a hit! We got compliments from our guests all night about what a great DJ he was. Before the wedding we had a call and we even met up with Shane for dinner to discuss what we were looking for. We gave a few music options we wanted to hear and then let him take creative control and we’re so happy with how the event turned out. We really recommend booking Green Line and Shane specifically! He was so kind, professional and fun! A great DJ with great taste, we’d use him for another event in a heartbeat. Our families listen to completely different music, think Barbra Streisand on one side and then Motown on the other, Shane perfectly blended the genres and everyone felt they had music they loved. After playing genres for our families, he played what we liked from there on out. I just can’t say enough great things about Shane!

Music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and I did A LOT of research looking for a DJ that wasn’t a run of the mill “wedding DJ”. When I found Green Line and DJ Shane Page, I knew I struck gold.  Elissa was amazing to work with from day one and the moment I was connected with Shane, I knew he was a perfect fit for what we were looking for. Shane is extremely professional, has the coolest style and best taste in music. He listened to what our vision was and I trusted him to take it from there. He did not disappoint! The whole wedding was a vibe from start to finish and EVERYONE was on the dance floor.

The DJ was an important consideration for our wedding and we researched many DJ companies before we decided to go with Beattrain. One thing during the wedding process you realize is that many vendors are not reliable but I can say Beattrain has a great admin system and will respond to questions and needs as quickly as possible. What was also great about BT is that there are many different DJ options available for the aesthetic and music style that you are looking for.
We decided to go with Shane and we received many complements about him. He was cool calm and collected but brought high energy as he partied with us. I was very particular but he met all the requests I had. It seemed to me the DJs were not just wedding DJs but artists who were musicians or DJs who really appreciated the craft. I highly recommend them.

We were the last wedding for DJ Shane before he moved to the Los Angeles area. He was absolutely awesome, and could not recommend him and Green Line more. SO easy to work with and Shane is a musician himself that we so appreciated and he played some fantastic music. Great team to work with, highly recommend.

Shane from Green Line was an absolute highlight of our wedding. We received an overwhelming amount of compliments from our guests not only on the music selection, but also that the songs played were true to us as a couple. Shane did his homework and was prepared. Based on the example playlists we shared and a few intro conversations, he knew exactly what we were going for and executed it perfectly.
Shane also served a very important role as our moderator throughout the night, introducing guests and keeping key speakers on-schedule. He was confident and professional as the face of our reception. Maybe one of our favorite parts of the night, Shane took some time to show our 6-year old nephew his turntables. This helped keep the little guy occupied and out of trouble during family photos. Not in any way Shane’s job to do, but a small detail that shows how above and beyond Shane went towards making the night perfect for us. Would easily recommend Shane and Green Line  for weddings, parties, any DJ needs.

Our meeting with Shane was great as he wanted to actually get to know us and hear more about us beyond just our wedding DJ expectations. Shane made sure our dance floor was full the entire night and did a great job managing speeches / breaks in music (wedding cake, informing guests about dinner). Green Line Talent was professional and responsive throughout the entire process. They identified a variety of DJs for us, including DJ Shane. Shane took the time to learn about us as a couple and the type of atmosphere we wanted to create. At the wedding, he managed all of the announcements perfectly and seamlessly blended our musical style which included 1940/50s Jazz and Big Band, Afrobeat, traditional Greek dance songs and modern hip hop and R&B. He played a variety of songs from the list we provided, and used his expertise to identify others that kept the ENTIRE crowd dancing all night…all with a big smile on his face. We continue to get compliments about Shane 6 months later. Highly recommend!
